Seventy years facing the valley

Casa Quinta is the finca’s main house: white walls, clay roof tiles, reddish timber doors and shutters and a garden of agaves, purple plants and a fountain. Inside, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors; outside, a covered terrace with hammocks and a long table looking over the valley. In 2022 the finca introduced it as its “Coworking Lodge”: three rooms, places to work and a view wide open to the coast.

The viewpoint

The horizon, a few steps away

Above the house is the finca’s private viewpoint: a rock open to the valley where the Sierra’s ridges catch fire at sunset and, on clear days, the view runs out to Santa Marta and the sea.

For the way down after sunset, bring a torch.

Bar Bolívar and the fire-ring lawn

In February 2024 Bar Bolívar opened, a small bar next to the fire-ring lawn. There was a guitar and a fire; these are not fixed events or party nights: ask what’s on during your dates.
